Sheila Sylvia Green, a lifelong resident of Muskegon, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was 77 years old. Sheila was born in Muskegon, MI on February 13, 1947, to the late Francis Hopkins and Maxine Ramirez.She was a caring and faithful wife of 27 years to Phillip Green; kind and loving mother of Pat (Connie) Kerbuski, Tina (Bryan) Tenhopen, Billy (Colleen) Gibson, and stepchildren Jana (Todd) Larabee and Phillip Green; cherished grandmother of Wes (Abby) Kerbuski, Bryan (Sarah) Tenhopen, Bryanna (Emily) Kerbuski, Dakota Tenhopen, Billy Gonzalez, Makayla Gibson, Tasha (Scott) Ackerman, Cody Larabee, Brooke Larabee and Addison Green and 11 great-grandchildren as well as extended family and close friends.Preceding in death are her father Francis Hopkins, mother Maxine Ramirez, and siblings Danny Gibbs, Tonya Newton, and Jimmy Gibbs.A visitation will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services Funeral Home - 137 E. Laketon Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442 on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 11:00 am.to 12 Noon. Following that, a Graveside Service at Seaman Cemetery in Casnovia. Concluding the service will be a luncheon at Fellowship Church - 4200 E Apple Ave, Muskegon MI 49442.Those wishing to express sympathy are asked to consider making a contribution in Sheila's honor to Oakridge Public Schools where she worked for many years and had such a love and passion for children. Sheila was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all.
