Stephanie Anne Urbanawiz's Obituary
Stephanie Anne Urbanawiz was born in Decatur, Illinois on April 29, 1985 to Michael and Patricia Urbanawiz and passed away at home under the loving care of her family on February 28, 2015. Along with her parents, Stephanie is survived by two brothers, Kevin Urbanawiz and Adam (Kristie) Urbanawiz, her exchange sister, Anna Maier and 13 other previous exchange students; many aunts, uncles and cousins; good friends, Jessica and Jessie Wolfsen and their children, Garrett, Brock and Bane. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Stephanie graduated at the top of her class at O.V., worked as a Radiology Tech and Phlebotomist at Mercy Hospital. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a Major in Chemistry and was currently a student at Grand Valley State University in the final phase of the Physician's Assistant Program. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 S. Getty Street, Muskegon. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, also at the church, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund or to the Scholarship Fund at Grand Valley State University for the Physician's Assistant Program in Stephanie's name: University Development GVSU, LV Eberhard Center 9th Floor, 301 Fulton St. West, Grand Rapids, MI 49501-2005
