Stephen M. Bowyer's Obituary
Stephen M. Bowyer, 83, of Fruitport, Michigan, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 22, 1942. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Carol (Vance) Bowyer and his first wife Judith Bowyer in 1978.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sheryl; his children, Stephen Bowyer, Debra Bowyer, Jeffrey Bowyer, Kacey Bowyer, Kelly (Graham McKenzie) Nichols; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Steve retired from Herman Miller and was a member of the Muskegon Railroad Historical Society. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Steve and Sheryl attended Calvary Church, located at 213 W. Oak Street, Fruitport, Michigan 49415 where a Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled later.
