Susie Q!! You were a force of nature! Your spirit and bright light shone happiness and love on all those who came within your orbit. I will be forever inspired by your grit, resilience, and straight from the heart laughter. You taught me by example what it means to rise above the adversity life sometimes throws at us. Beyond that, you also made me feel special every single time we spoke, FaceBooked, or had the chance for a hug and chat in person. You were the only sister I had in my life. Words fail at such a time as this. What can express how deeply you were beloved? How you had nothing but open arms for others? Words fail to tell how much love you emanated, and the love that shone? Your essence was love and that will always shine through the many, many people you touched.
You fought like a warrior for every ounce of life in the face of hardships, a plethora of illnesses, the derision of those who were critical of the disabled. You stood up for "the little guy."
What a great baker and kitchen wonder you were! And how very happy you were to make Tom his birthday cakeall of us unknowing God's call was coming in a few hours. That was simply youa giver even up to God's invitation home. I just picture a little campfire on a chilly fall night, and you and Jack with Jackie along with dozens of family sitting around sharing jokes/laughs and simply telling our Lord of the love and happiness He shared with all of us.
Until we meet again I will try to be like you and show others love, just as you always have done. Thank you my precious Sue. Words fail.

So many great memories you have left for me to cherish. Danielle and I were discussing the annual Easter egg hunts, you generously hosted. The baking you and I would do. Momma Sue, you made the best of the life you had AND for that you are a huge inspiration to me. You had nicknames for everyone. You made me a better person just knowing you. Heaven gained an amazing woman! The day I met you I didn't feel like I was going to work I felt like I was going to a family members house. You greeted me with so much love and made me feel at home!
