Theresa May Hammond's Obituary
Theresa May Hammond, age 79 was born on August 10, 1939 and passed away on October 20, 2018. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Lyle; daughter, Michelle Bergin and grandson, Steven Serio. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Teresa) Frishett; several grand and great-grandchildren, including Thomas (Jeff Cave) Serio along with being "grandma" to several neighborhood children; step-daughter, Debbie (Bob) Griffith; son in law, Ray Bergin; sister, Veronica Mengel; several nieces and nephews. Theresa was retired from Comerica Bank and enjoyed socializing with family, friends, and neighbors. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
