Hey Mr southerland you where a great teacher great friend to all class of 92.
I was on a student exchange program from Liberia, West, Africa in 1979-1980 and had the honor of being one of Mr Sutherland's students at Reeths Puffer High School. He was my all time favorite teacher. I will never forget my own pleasant and kind he was...truly a great teacher! My sincere condolences to Mrs. Sutherland and her entire family. 🙏🌹❤️ Precious Uso

Mr. Sutherland was my teacher at Reeths-Puffer back in the 70's. I don't remember the subject he was teaching, but I remember his goodness and kindness to me, and his joyfulness. Thank you, Mr. Sutherland. May you be with God. Dan Fagan
We were lucky to have him and Janet last fall at our class of 69 reunion. He was still bright and good looking and remembered so many of us. In 1968 we were all at Duck Lake channel when he said he would give me an A in I swam in icy Lake Michigan. I did, but he only gave me a B . When I gave him back my report card for an upgrade he instead wrote, Lousy Swimmer. I will never forget when he turned off the classroom lights and played the LP John Brown's Body Lies
