Veronica R. Tretheway's Obituary
Veronica R. Tretheway age 97 was born in Muskegon on November 30, 1919 to the late Adam and Helen Karpowicz and passed away on February 18, 2017.
Veronica was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Thomas S. Tretheway and a daughter Patti Peltier. She is survived by two children, Linda (Bill) Harrison and Tom (Melissa) Tretheway; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Richard) Pierce, Kelci (Alex) Sizemore, Andrew Tretheway, and Teah (Kole) Medina; six great-grandchildren; her brother, William (Genevieve) Karpowicz; son-in-law, Paul Peltier; several nieces and nephews.
Veronica was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Regina (Dan) Dobberstein, Helen (Matt) Crehan and Dolores (Jerry) Sytek. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Veronica was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1716 Sixth Street in Muskegon where she had been a member of the Rosary Society and where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017.
