Violet Emily (Williams) Martinson, age 94, was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 2, 1925 to the late John Greenlies Williams and Viola Augusta Ida (Bauer) Williams, and passed away in Muskegon, Michigan on October 25, 2019. She was the 4
th
child of 13 children, 10 of whom have predeceased her. On September 25, 1943 she was married to James Melvin Martinson and he preceded her in death. Survivors include, her children, Dee J Henson-Maxwell, of Kerrville, Texas, Donna Jean Sipes, of St. George, Utah, Diane Joy "Sunny" Bock, of Centennial, Colorado, Dennise, Jamie Taber, of Manhattan, Kansas, Don James Martinson, of Parker, Colorado; sisters, Joanne Ruth Morphew, of Port S. Lucie, Florida, Gloria Jean Arneil, of Algonac, Michigan; twelve grandchildren, multiple great and great-great grandchildren. Violet was a past member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Flint, Michigan. She worked as a tax assessor in Missaukee, Michigan. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
