Virginia H. Humphrey's Obituary
Virginia Helen Humphrey, age 94 was born on May 31, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois to the late George W. and Helen F. (Pfeiffer) Baumann and passed away on August 4, 2024. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Albert Humphrey; her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Bonnie Humphrey in 2002. Survivors include her children, Craig (Jennifer) Humphrey, Lynn Gabris, Kevin (Kathy) Humphrey; grandchildren, Jenny (Chris) Mandt, Bob Sandore, Eric (Becky) Humphrey, Ryan (Leah) Humphrey, CJ (Karen) Humphrey, Ricky (Laurita) Humphrey, Meagan (Branden) Vetter, Monica Humphrey, Tiffany Emerson, Dana Humphrey, Hannah Gabris, Gaylynn (Eric) Anderson, Brandi (Jake) DeGram, Kayla (Kyler) Korstanje, Brett Seekins, Angelina (Devin) Sturgis, and Timothy Brown; 26 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia was retired as a secretary at Oakridge High School. Albert and Virginia are long time members of Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Road in Muskegon where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Paul Appold officiating. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the Resurrection Garden with her husband Albert at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
