Walter Walsh Jr.'s Obituary
Walter "Butch" Warren Walsh, Jr. age 64 was born on May 20, 1958, and passed away on December 22, 2022, at The Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence - Harbor Hospice in Muskegon, Michigan. Survivors include, his mother, Viola Walsh;children, Samantha Walsh, Spencer Walsh, Svetla Walsh, Yuri Walsh, Adam Walsh, Felicia Walsh, D'Mario Walsh and Nik Walsh; brothers and sisters, Sue Frederick, Dan Walsh, Cindy McCloskey, Chris Walsh, Colleen Walsh, Miriam Walsh, Raul Walsh, Silvia Walsh. Butch had many wonderful nieces and nephews and cousins of which he loved very much as well.
Walter "Butch" Warren Walsh, Jr. was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved being outside, fishing, hunting and camping.During his years at Shelby High School, Butch excelled in football and earned state recognition with his team at championships. In his later, more recent years Butch could always be found cheering on his favorite team, the Detroit Lions.He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to his work excelling in his craft of fine woodworking with boats and ships of all size. He was well known in the West Michigan community for delivering meticulous woodwork. This led to the creation of his own business, "Walsh Marine" based on his talent and eye for woodworking. -- He will be greatly missed.
