Wanda Lee Ritter's Obituary
Wanda Lee (Hammond) Ritter a loving wife, and mother was born on April 21, 1934 in Hesperia, Michigan to the late Lewis and Anna Hammond and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2020. Wanda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald Lee Ritter; children, Sheryl (Verne) Wright, Debra (Mark) Smith, Cindy (Dave) Short, Jim (Becky) Kolbe, Tricia (Michael) McDonald, Joyce Ritter and Kendra Ritter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her feline companion, Gray-C. Wanda was an extraordinary woman of great faith who put a special emphasis on the importance of a strong marriage. For many years she and Gerald led weekend marriage retreats, teaching other couples the values for a fruitful marriage. As the matriarch of her family she had an unconditional love for her Lord and Family. Wanda was a gifted storyteller and Bible scholar who loved writing, music, traveling, fishing and working in her garden. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Shiloh Tabernacle, 460 E. Tyler Road in Muskegon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to her husband.
