Wayne O. Thompson's Obituary
Wayne O. Thompson was born on June 20, 1939 in Ravenna to the late Oramel E. and Margaret A. (Gilbert) Thompson and went to be with his Lord on June 17, 2019 age 79.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Thompson; children, Philip (Wendy) Thompson, DeAnn (Tom) Martin, Jodi (Russell) Weddington, and Timothy Thompson; eleven grandchildren, Daniel, Kira, Caleb, Joshua (Aubrey) Marcella, Luke, Olivia, Elizabeth, Joshua (Amanda), Ryan and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Tori, Ivan, Rhett, and Zoe; sister, Carolyn Policha.
Wayne is a veteran of the United States Air Force; he was the past owner/operator of Thompson Dairy Farm and an avid tennis player.
Wayne and Joan are members of Lakeshore Baptist Church 17306 Church Hill Drive, Grand Haven, Michigan where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

Visitation will be held, also at the church, on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Ravenna Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Gideons.
