William P. "Bill" Cavanaugh's Obituary
William P. "Bill" Cavanaugh, age 74 was born on May 8, 1946 in Ludington, Michigan to the late Joseph W. and Louise Marie (Aerts) Cavanaugh and passed away in Muskegon on July 22, 2020. Bill is survived by three sisters, Judy (Ray) Bawks, Diana Delliger, and Patricia Gould; several nieces and nephews including, Sally (Bill) Leonard, Steve (Veronica) Bawks, Mark (Gloria) Gould, Mike Gould and Fiance, Christine Romanosky, Steven (Jeannie) Bonaparte, and Darnell (Paul) Kaihian. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bert Gould; and his longtime companion, Barbara Dullard. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army, he was well known in East Muskegon, as the "Moped Guy". He was most recently working at the McDonald's near Apple and Mill Iron Road and was active in several pool leagues. According to his wish's cremation has taken place. Bill was a member of the East Muskegon Church of God, located at 3585 E. Laketon Ave. Muskegon, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Steven Sower officiating. Visitation with the family will be held, also at the church, one prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Church.
