William "Bill" Lauterberg Jr.'s Obituary
William "Bill" Lauterberg Jr. age 89 was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 19, 1932, to the late William Sr. and Helen Lauterberg and passed away on January 21, 2022. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Lynda Lauterberg; three children, Kim Cole, Brenda (Walt) Gildersleeve, and Lorrie Matthews; five grandchildren, Tonya, Ryan, Brandy, Lianna, and Kenneth; great-grandchildren, Jaklyn, Claire, Caitlyn, Kyle, Rhys, Derek, Braxton, Gavyn, Alex, Arabella, and Emberly. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lonergan.
An avid woodworker, Bill was retired from Muskegon Public Schools where he worked as an electrician. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. He will be interred with his parents and grandparents in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of North Ottawa Community or the Alzheimer's Association.
