Dear Enoch and Joan, Loren, JonPaul, and Jim. So so sorry to hear about your loss. I just found out yesterday about her passing. So sorry I have failed to keep in contact with you. I remember how diligent she was, and so kind. When I was a teenager she took me into the craft barn, and helped me make a beautiful leather tooled belt (1973, 74, or 75?). She was a daughter to be so proud of! I remember her fondly. Please Joan or Enoch could you give me your phone #? My # at the music store where I work is (727-223-3088). We were saddened to hear of your loss just the other day through friends. Bill & I loved Chris so much and remember her giving spirit and compassion for all. I so remember her gentle smile and laugh. Her humor was contagious. (Reminds me of Bill that's just fun!) I so look forward to seeing her again in eternity. We love you all. Know that she is at peace.

Dear Olsons, I am saddened by the news of Chris. There are no words sufficient to describe how precious a friend Chris was to me. She was one of a very few who knew my home life left me desperate and broken. She always took the time to be my friend. If you remember an Easter weekend she invited me to stay with your family. Much to your chagrin Enoch I stayed. It was shortly after you had the accident with the end of your finger. Chris and I were there when you placed your finger over your head and whacked it on the ceiling as you went downstairs. Her reaction to you was memorable. Love and genuine concern. Something I hadn't experienced in my home life. I was so grateful for her invitation for that time and having the opportunity to be included in your family will forever be held in a special place in my heart. Chris was so caring to me and her kindness will never leave my me. She was a Godsend at a very difficult time. Special people like her shared His love without judgement. Enoch, Joan, Jim, and Olson family, my heart is with you in this time of loss and remembering. I have appreciated the many memories shared on this site. A fond memory I have of Christine, then Chris was when she taught me 3 hem stitches. I was on my own, living at Spring Hill and in charge of the kitchen. Chris with those beautiful, long Olson fingers was an amazing seamstress. I asked if she would teach me how to hem a pair of slacks. She brought her tools and gave me an A lesson. There are many more stories, but please know that I share your loss for your dearly love Christine. We grieve in the hope of Christ. We will see her again.
