Donald Eugene Herrgord's Obituary
Donald Eugene Herrgord, age 83, was born on October 10, 1939, in Muskegon, Michigan and passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on January 11, 2023. He is now in his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He lived his life to glorify God. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Iver and Bertha Herrgord and his brother, Carl. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carol E. Herrgord; two daughters Deann (Jim) Kiely and Suellen (Carl) Alfredson; grandchildren, Katie (Robert Near) Alfredson, Donny (Lissy Bell) Alfredson, Joanna Alfredson; Patrick (Hilary) Kiely and Rachel (Brian) Wong; eight great-grandchildren.
Donald was the founder and owner of Expo Concepts, Inc. and a member of the Christian Businessman Association. Donald has been a lifetime member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church located at 6790 Harvey Road in Spring Lake where he has served on many boards and activities over the years. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held there on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Craig Cramblet will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Olivet Evangelical Free Church or the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
