I spent so much time at the Ungers when I was growing up it was definitely my second home.
When I think of Mr. Unger I think of unconditional love. I can honestly say I NEVER ever remember him talking badly about anyone ever. He was just a really great guy. A very hard worker working 10 and 12 hour days. Sometimes for days and days. I don’t think he ever met a stranger. He got along with everyone and was accepting of any and all. When I think back on my time spent. I think about how there were 7 kids and most of the time each would have a friend over. It didn’t matter to Mr. or Mrs Unger. They never made you feel unwanted and were always asked to sit at the table at meal time. They were just really wonderful people. I have the best memories from times there. Barb and Fred were both just hardworking honest loving people.They were so good to everyone and I have such wonderful memories of them both.

I Remember visiting With Fred on Tuesday mornings with My Dad ant the other guys that worked at Anaconda and then we both worked at Mercy Hospital. Fred was a good guy.
