Remember him being a good brother in my young years never stayed close to any of the family but it goes both ways but now he can be with those he lost.
My Grandpa loved Going to the full Moon for breakfast on Mondays and Thursdays to see His work buddy's specially bill he always talked about and my friend Jared Civis.
My grandpa was the best grandpa ever he loved going places with me and going out to eat. He enjoyed me coming over all the time and watchin sports with him he loved getting out of the house and going to hockey games baseball. Games and NASCAR he didn't like being alone and always asked about me u till we meet again Grandpa I love you!!! He was also happy to get to see his sister Shirley when I took him it was nice to see them together ❤️
Was truly one of the best ! He will be so very missed. Can only hope he's being reunited with everyone we've lost!

Thank you for noticing Debbie, my bro cared for and loved him so much and probably taking it harder than anyone else.
I myself didn't spend a lot of time with Grandpa but I knew if I needed anything I could go to him, he had a laugh you can't forget and them ears thou lol he was a man I could count on. The world can't afford to lose a man like him, but I know wherever he lands now he will be strong and can finally rest with his wife and hold 2 of his children, and play poker with friends again and that makes me smile.
I don't know if this will get anywhere making a comment on here or not,but Mr.LaPorte also had a a Grandson named George Beckwith,that was always there for his Grandfather and cared very much about him,I think it is a shame that he was not mentioned in his obituary🥲
Herb was always the nicest guy to me and I feel like he was nice to everyone. I married his Son in law, Ronnie. Ronnie was first married to Herb's daughter, Corrine. I'm so sorry Rhonda and Georgie. I'm sure you two know how much he loved you. If it wasn't for the two of you his end days would have been so much worse.
Great Uncle Bud was such an incredible man. He was so good to his sister Shirley, my grandma, and I loved watching them rekindle their relationship before they both passed. I am so thankful for his grandson George for continuing to bring him to my grandmas when he was no longer capable of doing it himself. So many good conversations and memories that I will cherish forever. This world lost a very bright light.
