Herb J. LaPorte's Obituary
Herb LaPorte, age 93 was born on July 23, 1931, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Herbert and Ana LaPorte and passed away on November 25, 2024. Along with his parents, Herb was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Juanita; two children, Corrine LaPorte, and Herb LaPorte, Jr.; a grandson, Cody LaPorte.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Wally) Smith, Tina (Elmer Amaya) LaPorte; seven grandchildren, John, Angie, Rhonda, Scott, Katie, George, and Amanda; several great, and great-great-grandchildren; along with his "Tuesday Night Trivia" family. Herb was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea during the Korean War.
A visitation and fellowship will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. Muskegon on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. Arrangements By Shoreline Memorial Services -- Muskegon Chapel -- (231)-722-5050
