Jim Im gonna miss you! You took care of my two, old horses for years! I could depend on you always showing up on time and ready to go. I dont think I ever saw you without a smile on your face. I enjoyed our chats while you were trimming. We complained about our kids and bitched about politics. You educated me about the hoof and its importance and gave me some good pointers on maintenance. You will be missed and remembered.
I met Jim in 1991 when I bought a horse from a good friend who highly recommended him, and I never had any use for another farrier. He was a wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly, generous, funny, and very thoughtful man, who will be missed by many. Rest in peace, my friend, and may you find comfort wrapped in the arms of the angels. Forever in our hearts ❤️
I was honored to meet Jim this past Christmas Eve. He was such a joyful man and full of life even though battling cancer.
I'm sure he is walking with the Lord in peace now.
