James H. Kevern's Obituary
Jim Kevern, age 77, passed away Monday, March 18th, 2019 at Mercy Hospital after a battle with Cancer. Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Kevern of Muskegon; Lindas parents, Lewis and Dorothy Neumann; children, Sheri (Danny) Vanderlaan, Laura Quinn, Tracey Bingham, and Tonja Byers (Mike Johnson); six grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Pearl Kevern; 2 sisters, and Jims in laws Trevor and Francis Hallman. Jim spent over 50 years fulfilling his passion and lifetime love of horses as a farrier (trimming and shoeing) as well as many years of training and showing horses. Please join us in honoring Jim at a Celebration of Life at the Fruitport Eagles, where he was a member, on April 27th, 2019 from 1pm to 5pm. Memorials may be directed to Noah Project or Harbor Hospice.
