John - Floyd F. Cowell's Obituary
John-Floyd Fuller Cowell, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2022. John was born August 31, 1980, in Petoskey, MI to Tammy and John Cowell Jr. He graduated from Harbor Springs High School in 1998. John married his loving wife, Brandi Cowell, on September 1, 2012. John enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching baseball, gaming, and fishing. John will be remembered by his wife Brandi and children, Micah, John, Brielle, and Samuel; aunt and uncle Bonita and Chuck Chesner; mother-in-law, Sherri Knoll (Joe Myerchalk); father-in-law and his wife, Mike and Marty Buth; brother-in-law Jim Buth (Rose McClain); sister Kay (Keith) Butler; nephews, Landen, Khalon, Lincoln, and sisters Amanda Jenkins, Amy Cowell, Rhonda Cowell, and their children; as well as his parents and many other family members and friends. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ardis and John Cowell Sr.; and stepfather-in-law, Terry Knoll. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shoreline Memorial Services of Whitehall, 816 S. Mears Ave, Whitehall, MI 49461. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to establish a care fund for John's children (checks payable to Kay Butler, 12740 Triple Oak, Lowell, MI 49331).
