To our friend and my special brother,
Words cannot express how much you are already missed. I know you will be watching over Deb and the family and giving them special signs to help comfort their grief. Hope you and Joe are together and celebrating family in heaven with all those who made the journey before us.
Our decades together at Lakeshore built a very special bond between our families. In addition, we built a special bond as "brothers from another mother" that will last forever. With our Lakeshore families together in Traverse City each July, we shared so many special moments together by the wall, at the table over coffee or in the water each year.
These are cherished family memories, and they will always be the memories of our special friendship.
If we did our job correctly, our children and grandchildren will enjoy building the same type of memories in Traverse City or their special place in Michigan as they grow older like us.
Until we all arrive in heaven, soar high with your new wings, and save us a good table by the water for coffee and stories. I am positive you were greeted into heaven by God with open arms and a hug, so please save a hug for me and hold down the fort for our families. I will be along soon enough.

Joe became a big part of our family when his son Adam married my daughter Sara .So many memories of joyful gatherings at their home . he was a awesome father grandfather and friend !Heaven has the best angel ! Till we meet again my friend
It has been our pleasure to have Joe as a friend ever since Debbie introduced him to us 54 years ago. We were honored to be part of their wedding and to have them in ours. We enjoyed many celebrations over time. Birthdays, graduations, weddings, traveling to some historic places and just fun get togethers. Joe was a chosen brother, as important to us as those we were given by our parents.
