My grandma was the most loving, caring, selfless, talented amazing woman I have ever known. She put others before herself no matter what state she was in at the time. She spoiled me with love and of course she would dote on me with gifts too. She always had been there when I needed her no matter what it was. It didn't matter if I disappointed her or if I made her proud she loved me anyways. One of my favorite memories is our weekly Saturday morning breakfast at Wittlows. We both would always get the same thing. I would get my pancakes while she got the egg, bread of some kind with blackberry jam and American fries. She would ask me each time if I wanted some potatoes and I always said yes. From there we would go to BK to get her 2 for $5 egg and cheese crosonts. Then we would head off for her moka. Grandma loved her mokas. Sometimes I would just drop her off while other times I stayed and cleaned while she naped. I looked forward to our breakfast and I will forever miss them. Now she did tell me she wanted me to keep going. Maybe mom and I can go for you grandma.
There is one memory I will never forget. The day grandma said she was ready to go home, I promised her I wouldn't leave her side before she passed away. I stayed and never left her side from Wednesday afternoon to Friday morning when she went home to glory. Her last night on earth was a night that I got to be alone with her. It's a night that I felt so blessed to have and will always love and knowing that grandma and I had one last sleepover. Grandma, I will never forget you and always love you. You helped mold me into the woman I am today. Love Nicole
