I never knew his name was Robert. His son William (Bill) is
married to my daughter Angela (Angie.) When I would see him
we had interesting conversations.
He liked to eat. Unfortunately because of Covid19 and then him going into the nursing home I hadn't seen him in a long time. I would ask about him. He was very dedicated to the fire 🔥 department. RIP Orie You were Loved! Our deepest Sympathy to his family. Praying 🙏 for his soul. Al & Deanna Kooman
I remember Orie coming to do teach us how to stop drop and roll as a kid in the old Fire Station in downtown Twin Lake. I later got to serve on the Fire Department with him when I grew up and was old enough to join. To think about the lives that he touches through 55 years of fighting fire is absolutely astonishing. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. I the Lord has a special spot for great men like him. ~Ken Smith
I am so glad to have gotten to meet you and get to know you over the years. I will miss your jokes and smile, even when no one else understood it was a joke at my job, I did and you always put a smile on my face. Rest in peace. ❤️
