Shirley M. Scott-McClain passed on to her eternal home on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Cleo Hatfield and Dorothy (Hatfield) Bloomberg. Prior to her move to Muskegon she resided in Read Obituary
Shirley was my postal customer in Newaygo. Even after she moved to Muskegon , she kept a post office box so I still saw her occasionally. She would always grab my hand and squeeze it and say God bless you. What a wonderful woman and Im glad I got to know her.
Sharley is where God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is operating at this moment and where ever they go from this day until eternity . Every moment of her life here on earth she walked with the Lord .She will now be doing greater things along side of him. She would have me spend the night there on Sanford Street often ,we would talk all night . She had two things she talked about , the God of the Bible and severing him all her life and her Grand daughter and three children that God truly blessed her with . I would have to remind her several times it is late we can talk in the morning . When morning came she was right at the place she had left off to finish what she still had on her mind . Lets put it this way we were Praising God . I know she is by my side helping me sever God the rest of my life . Thanks Shirley for the past support and the further support . Your truly a queen in heaven now setting with Christ on his throne .

YOU TRAVELED ALL OVER SHARING THE WORD OF GOD. WE SAT DOWN AND TALKED A FEW TIME AND THE JOY YOU BROUGHT WAS GREAT. IT WOULD LIFT PEOPLE UP. I AM REJOICING YOUR GOING HOME. I WAS GETTING SAD BUT THE LORD SHOWED THE JOY YOU CARRYED FILLED MY HEART AND THATS WHY WE LOVE YOU SHIRLEY. IF SOMEONE NEEDED HELP YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO HELP. YOU MADE A DIFFERANCE IN EVERYONES LIFE. I KNOW YOUR MAKING A WAY FOR YOU LOVED ONES HERE.
Shirley was a great friend to me and will be missed greatly the time that spent with her was a grand time. She loved helping out people and serving God. When you needed a up lifting word you know that you could always call on her. My deepest condolences go out to the family. I want to take a moment to also let the family know that I am here for them and they can reach out when they want to.
Shirley was a friend to so many. Her love for God was contagious. All of Heaven is rejoicing. Love and hugs to you, Leroy.
She has been my best friend for over 25 years and my spiritual mentor. I will miss her greatly. She is finally with her "Love " forever. She told me to not to sorrow at her passing, but to rejoice that she finally made it home. I keep that in mind a lot especially when I think of calling her. Keep in touch, Rose and Leroy.
