We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. My parents have lived next door to Steve and Lynn for many years. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, Steve was so kind and supportive. She passed away almost two years ago, and I like to imagine that she was there to welcome Steve to Heaven with a hug and a smile. We are so sorry for your loss and are sending you lots of love.

Steve's time with us in Texas was the best for us, not you. Thanks for sharing him. He taught us to play tennis in the dark, the card game Spoons, using forks but refused to escalate to knives, how to play touch football a little too aggressively, how to play golf in the 40s with shorts and a flannel shirt. We laughed and cried, and his big arms of love wrapped around me kept the pieces of my soul together, Jason, when my special dad died. I am certain he taught you that skill that you will use for your mom, grandparents, wife and kids. He is now waiting for us. Let's not rush to get there, but live to make him proud of the impact he had on all of us. All our love to all of you as we remember a life well lived. Cindy
